What is integrated video production
Blueforest Studios is a video production firm based in Raleigh, NC that works with agencies, brands and nonprofits to create memorable videos that move people.
Of course, a beautiful video on its own is incomplete. So we’re not just creative storytellers – we’re online video marketers. That is the key to Integrated Video Production. We understand that you have goals and your video needs to help you reach them. Using our proven process, we make sure your video is found online, your audience is talking about it and, most importantly, that you get real results.
We’re great listeners. Reach out and tell us what you need, and we’ll tell you how we can help. Whether you are a Fortune 500 company, a small business, a nonprofit, or an agency, we’ll work with you to craft an engaging story with a big impact.
Through our video SEO service, called blueboost, we’ll guide your video to success with views, audience engagement, and clickthroughs – and we’ll give you tips and suggestions to keep it heading in the right direction. You’ll receive a report providing crucial details for your success. Check out our sample report.
We like examples and we bet you do too.
One of our clients had a video online that wasn’t getting viewed. When we updated it with a more exciting message and used blueboost to optimize it, we increased its views by over 5700%, which led to many more sales. See the video and get the case study!
We like making people feel ways about stuff
When you connect with people’s emotions, they’re more likely to remember your message. This is what the research says, and what we know from our own storytelling experience. But when it comes to making your audience feel something, you may not know where to start. Luckily, we do!
Take one of our clients, a company dedicated to providing training management solutions to public safety professionals. They wanted a video that captured the intensity of decisive moments in an officer’s work life. Our team collaborated with them to develop a video that showed their online training tools being applied in real life situations.
Nothing makes our team feel better than a happy customer. That’s why we’re always pushing the boundaries to create something better and more effective that’s going to drive results.
Whether we’re creating hand-drawn animation, composing pitch perfect music, capturing helicopter footage, or shooting a spot with state-of-the-art 4K RED Cameras, it all comes down to making people feel connected with your organization.
Here’s an example of how we carefully craft our videos to suit your needs. Our client needed a video that highlighted their new training exclusives. What better way of showing off a tech product than some slick vector animation? The final video is a clean and effective showcase that explains the product without getting in the way.
Our super secret scientific magical mystery formula 3000
OK, so maybe it’s not so mysterious. We start by asking the right questions. You have mere moments to capture your viewers’ attention. Many videos spend a lot of time talking about how the product works, what the features are, and when the company was founded.
But the single most important question the viewer wants answered is:
Why are you different?
To answer this, we have to ask deep questions and look for more than superficial answers. That’s why an important part of our secret formula is our team. We are fully equipped and trained to meet a wide range of project requirements. Everything from creative, project management, execution, editing, graphics/animation and video SEO.

Meet the Team
Russ, also known as captain Rexford Russ Reynolds, started his career in the music industry booking and managing bands. He and his brother founded Osceola Recording Studios in Raleigh, which hosted a number of regional and national acts including Blues Traveler and Debra Gibson.
The music industry is very exciting but volatile and meanwhile in the business world poor quality audio persisted. Russ saw an opportunity to bring top quality audio to products ranging from on-hold messages to radio commercials. Soon Blueforest Studios was born.
Being the man behind the business, the team at Blueforest Studios loves to show their appreciation for Russ by pranking him on his birthday. Russ says he will not be showing up for work on his birthday this year… we’ll see.
When Russ is allowed out of the office he enjoys shredding on the guitar and offshore fishing.
Kathy Hughes LangfieldSenior Vice President
The honorable Kathy Hughes Langfield is the woman who keeps all of us at Blueforest Studios on track. She is a professional MBA with a background in business, nonprofit and environmental fields. She has worked for Blueforest Studios since its inception as Atlantic Creative a few years ago – no need to go into the double digits to make Kathy feel old. Kathy oversees finance, operations, and marketing and approves our company field trips!
Kathy is serving on both the Meredith College Board of Directors and the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors and is the Volunteer Manager for the Special Olympics Summer Games. Kathy also enjoys volunteering with the Eno River Association, Highland UMC, and NCGreenPower.
In her spare time Kathy loves bringing her dog, Rocket, to the office for play dates with the Blueforest crew. Kathy has also recently taken up a new instrument to contribute to the Blueforest Studios band: she is an aspiring boomwhacker player and a talented one at that!
Ammon EhrismanCreative Director
Ammon, also known as Ammon Robespierre Worthingon Maximillion Moneybags Ehrisman the Third, is a professional video producer. He has over 15 years of experience creating HD videos and graphics for businesses throughout the country.
Since joining Blueforest Studios, Ammon has produced many award-winning videos for clients ranging from the American Heart Association to Alex Patterson. Ammon loves a challenge and the beach so his latest challenge is how to convince every client they need a beach video.
In his spare time, you can find Ammon hanging out with his family and his band. He also puts in about 10 hours per week volunteering at his church. And since he is the 5th sibling in a family with 10 kids, he is an incurable attention hog. Maybe that’s why he is so driven to make great videos!
Kimberly CorriganExecutive Account Manager
Ever since she was a little girl, Kimberly has been stimulated by visuals and aesthetics. Her early childhood love of movies inspired her to take editing into her own hands. Armed with a Broadcast Journalism degree from UNC-CH and a passion for video, Kimberly embarked on a career that would enable her to tell her own story. From the beginning days of voiceover and sitting side-by-side with Woody Durham and Mick Mixon at the Tarheel Sports Network, to her ventures being on-air and behind the scenes broadcasting in Pinehurst, NC, she finally found a place to nest in the Blueforest. Kimberly is devoted to genuineness and creativity and is inspired by those around her. Dedicated to service, quality, and professionalism with a sense of humor, Kimberly is thrilled to combine her industry knowledge with her agency experience at Wildfire and Centerline Digital.
