Happy Holidays
Thank you from all of us at Blueforest! We are beyond grateful for all of our wonderful clients and all the amazing work you have allowed us to do for you this year. We truly wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you all. As we get a minute to step back and reflect we are truly in awe of how far we have come. All of us at Blueforest are bright eyed about what the future holds for us. Hopefully, some if not all of you are onboard as we continue to grow and adventure into 2023. But for now here’s what the holiday season has in store for our employees!
Josh - My holiday season is full of family time, and most recently hiding Elfie, this has become quite the chore as the kids have become accustomed to Elfie doing crazier and crazier overnight shenanigans. I think we started too big :)
Jade - Christmas to me is being able to have all my family in one place. Our family has continued our traditions since my siblings and I were kids and it brings me joy to now to pass them down to my two daughters. Having young children during Christmas is so fun because it reminds me of that childlike feeling of Christmas with the wonder and excitement that Santa brings!
Bryan- For me, Christmas is all about family. Having 5 siblings that mostly live in other states, Christmas is the one time a year that we know we will all see each other together. The couple days we spend together are full of food, drinks, and laughter. It always warms my heart.
Ammon - Since my parents had 10 kids and we all decided to have kids, there are now 38 grandkids and 6 great grandkids and 98% of us still live in the Raleigh area so our Christmas gathering is quite epic. No house is big enough to contain us so on Christmas Eve we will go down to my church building and continue our tradition of eating breakfast crepes, helping the kids put on a nativity play and my dad always makes a toy in his woodshop to give to each of the grandkids.
Colleen - The holiday season for me is all about visiting family and friends. This is a time of year I really try to focus on being there for others, whether that is playing board games with my niece, helping my mom with her to-do list, or making time to visit friends. For me, it's all about letting those around you feel special.
Philip - We'll be heading to Music City USA the day after Christmas, where I grew up and have around 1.7 million cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. But in the days leading up to that, I'll be busy working with my 8- and 10-year-old to put together a present for my wife: a rap music video about our puppy, complete with original music by my son and lyrics by my daughter and me (here's to hoping she doesn't read this!). And because I'm a video nerd, I'll also sit my kids down on New Year's Day for an on-camera interview (the 6th annual!), where my wife and I pepper them with questions about their favorite this-or-that and best memories of 2022.
